We require on-going training for our staff through state classes, orientation videos, in-house training, and other certified professionals in the education field. All of our staff is trained in Pediatric First Aid and CPR. We take great pride and responsibility to keep safe, educate and nurture the children within our care.

Hi. My name is Amber Adnan and I am the Owner/Director of Rising Star Academy. It is truly my honor to own this phenomenal childcare center and to be a part in the finest care in early education. I have more than 15 years of childcare experience including 7 years of experience running my home childcare/preschool center. I have a bachelor’s degree in early childhood from NEIU and live in Overland Park, KS. Our mission is to provide quality care for all our children. A unique family childcare setting that caters to the social, emotional, physical and academic development of every child in our care. Our teaching approach helps children reach developmental milestones and teaches them how to solve problems, think critically and guide them how to be more independent.
